Founded in 2018, the Sedona-Oak Creek Educational Foundation (SEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax exempt organization (EIN #38-3737910) of local community members working to augment sparse state funding of public education. SEF benefits Sedona-Oak Creek Unified School District students and teachers as a catalyst and resource for programs, innovation, and opportunity.
We celebrate student, teacher, and district success.
We aim to increase the visibility and local valuing of education, encouraging a lifetime of learning for the entire community.
In partnership with the public and private sectors, the Sedona-Oak Creek Educational Foundation financially supports rigorous and innovative programs in the areas of academics, the arts, and continuing education that engage students and staff. SEF strives to provide motivating opportunities within and beyond the students years at SOCUSD. To this end, the Foundation also awards scholarship monies to students who pursue post-secondary education.
A great public school district is a community product and pride.
